Students (2nd- 6th grade) will study several branches of science including life science, physical science, and earth science, as well as the lives of famous scientists over the course of two semesters. Experiments will be a regular part of the curriculum. A reading list will be required and students will be expected to complete some work at home throughout the week including narration and written work. Students will create a science notebook to store their notebook entries: written answers to review questions, illustrations, bible verses, and science experiment results.
Planned studies 1st semester: The Arctic Tundra, Cactus Desert, Dinosaurs
Planned studies 2nd semester: Constellations, Coral Reef, and the lives of Louis Pasteur and Albert Einstein.
Fee: $40 per student per semester, plus readers**
